Bud’s message title: The Danger of Sincere Religion. The theme is that following religious rules/etc can often miss the point of being compassionate. We will join our neighbor church from HS Village at Stephen’s Pavillion, Lake Ouachita at the bottom of Blakely Dam. The potluck picnic will begin after church, around 12:30 or 1:00.
Rather than regular church, this Sunday will be our annual Congregational Meeting. All members are asked to attend, if possible. We’ll discuss our finances, our service to the community, and our future. We will elect new board members for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
