Mar 4, Dr Earl Babbie, Guest Speaker, whose topic will be Cultural Transformations

Dr Earl Babbie’s topic will be Cultural Transformations.  He will speak to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs, Sunday, March 4th, 10:30am.  All are invited.

Starting with the #METOO movement, are we actually seeing something bigger, beyond sexual assault, possibly a cultural transformation in the status of women? Will we actually achieve
gender equality? I’ll talk about the nature of cultural transformations, review some from history, and suggest some we might address
in the future.
