Sunday, November 5th, 10:30 am Retired Colonel John Nino will present the annual service in honor of Veteran’s Day at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs. All are invited to attend.
John retired from the Army in March 1995, as a Colonel, after 30 years of service. His last assignment was Senior Emergency Management Liaison Officer at Headquarters, First Army in Atlanta, GA. He was responsible for coordinating with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to provide military support to civil authorities in response to natural disasters and other declared emergencies in the southeastern region of the United States.
John graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and later obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from The College of William and Mary.
He and his wife have resided in Hot Springs for over six years.

At 9:00 AM the Religious Exploration group will meet to view a TED Talk then discuss it.
At 10:00 AM there will be coffee, tea and light snacks.
A pot luck will follow the service.
