We are pleased to welcome back Dr. David Welch, who will speak on, “What is the role of wealth in our spiritual life?” A central issue for religious people is the role money plays in their lives. There are numerous warnings about the corrupting influence of wealth and in modern times the active promotion of “greed” as a worthwhile goal in life. This in the face of the Biblical blessing of the poor. Dr. David Welch will ask the question — and it’s a puzzler.

Dr Welch received his doctorate from the University of Florida and is professor emeritus of the University of Northern Colorado. He moved to Hot Springs Village in 2010 from St Paul Minnesota where he retired as the Dean of the Graduate School of Professional Psychology.

We hope you will join us at 10:00am for refreshments and socializing before the service, which is at 10:30am.

We will provide a class during the service for the youth, so that the whole family can benefit from the experience.
