Please join us this Sunday at 10:30am, as the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs hosts our dear friend and part-time minister, Rev. Bud Hearn, with a talk he calls, “The Rainbow Connection.” He says, “In my message I’ll move from the childhood explanation that at the end of the rainbow is a pot of gold to that which I’ve come to understand as what the rainbow might symbolize today.” Geary Hufstedler will be the lay leader, and Rebecca Ricks will be at the piano. Children and youth are welcome, and this Sunday will be exploring rainbows of their own.
The Religious Exploration class meets at 9:00am and is studying the book, “A Chosen Faith, An Introduction to Unitarian Universalism.” This week our discussion will focus on Chapters 1 and 2. If you have been curious about our liberal religion, now is the time to come and find out for yourself who we are. Everyone is welcome, and we have extra books available. Children and youth are welcome and this Sunday will be exploring rainbows of their own.
At 10:00am, we share a social time with light refreshments. We hope to see you this Sunday!
