On Sunday, November 8th, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs will close out an all-church Retreat with a Sunday service at Mountain Harbor Resort in Mt. Ida.
Shirley Mathey, local author and speaker known for her focus on effective communication, will speak at 10:30 a.m. No Sunday service will be held at the church on Norwalk Street, in Hot Springs. Visitors and friends are welcome to join us for the Sunday service at the Mountain Harbor Resort Pavilion.
Directions to Mountain Harbor Resort: From the McDonald’s at the Mt. Pine junction (Albert Pike Hwy 270 and Mt. Pine Rd Hwy 227), drive 20 miles west on Albert Pike (Hwy 270) to the Valero Station and Joplin Store at Hwy 949-4. Turn right. There is a Mt. Harbor sign there but it is easy to miss. Continue approx 1.4 miles to the signs for the lodge and the UUCHS cottages.
