The Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs, 100 Norwalk St, invites you to hear Tucker Steinmetz, of the Little Rock Unitarian Universalist Church. His topic, in keeping with the February service theme of love, is ” Beginner’s Mind: An Often Neglected Key to Love.” This is a practice from Zen Buddhism that holds promise for better human relations for any who would adopt it.

Mr Steinmetz, is a retired social worker, a graduate of Hendrix College and the UALR Graduate School of Social Work, He is the founder of Birch Tree Communities, a non-profit recovery program for adults living with serious mental illness, which serves about 500 individuals at 12 locations in Arkansas.

The service begins at 10:30am and Rebecca Ricks is guest pianist. The Wisdom Seekers book group will complete its month of Love poems at 9:00 a m. It is also time to select a new book for March, so please bring your recommendations.
