The Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs, 100 Norwalk St., welcomes you this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for our topic, “DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF MENTAL ILLNESS … Your Questions Answered.”
Our presenter, Michelle Crandell, will provide an interactive lecture followed by a question and answer session. Ms. Crandell is a clinical social worker and practicing therapist with over 36 years experience. Quay O’Hara, a member of the Unitarian Universalist Village Church will initiate this presentation. Mrs. O’Hara has graciously agreed to share some of her experiences coping with her own mental illness problems. This service is intended to be a question and answer format, so we encourage you to come ready for an open and honest discussion with this highly qualified mental health professional who lives in our community.
Our day begins at 9:00am as the Religious Exploration group continues TED talks with a video and discussion of Karen Armstrong’s “Let’s Revive the Golden Rule”. All are welcome to join us for this interactive Sunday.
