27 October, Jazz! Clyde Pound and Company, Oliver Driver, lay leader

This Sunday at 10:30am the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hot Springs, 100 Norwalk St., will present “The Seven Principles and Jazz”. Please join us as we celebrate our seventh annual Sunday Jazz Service. We welcome back some of Hot Springs finest jazz performers; Clyde Pound on keyboard, Jay Payette on drums, Byron Yancey on bass, Matt Dickson on sax and Shirley Chauvin, Vocalist.

Unitarian Universalism is a religion that celebrates diversity of belief and is guided by seven principles. Our faith teaches us that discovering our spirituality is an individual journey. The seven principles are affirmed by our members as a solid foundation for what UUs believe. Each of the principles will be explored, accompanied by a jazz selection to reinforce the thought.

At 9:00am the Wisdom Seekers, will continue its discussion of the “The Almost Church Revitalized,” by Michael Durall, followed by refreshments at 10:00am.

We will have our own Oktoberfest potluck immediately following the service with a “Brats and Beer” cookout. Please plan to join us the as the weather is supposed to be sunny and mild with a high of 69! All are welcome!
