This year, we once again will go to the rec center at Scott and Linell Lasiter’s home for an early morning boat ride on Lake Hamilton (optional) and pancake breakfast.

For those wanting to participate in the 7:00 AM boat ride, our house will be open by 6:15 AM. We’ll serve coffee on the patio overlooking the water. We have about 7 lifejackets, so anyone with a few more to share would be great. I just went out this morning on a practice run. I saw a beaver and watched an otter as it kept catching fish, popping up and eating them about 20 yards from the boat. The water and scenery were beautiful with a low lying blanket of fog covering the water as you made the final turn where Blakely Dam can be seen. I am not sure if anyone else will be bringing another boat as last year, but we do have room to dock it.

9:00: Short church service and breakfast to follow the optional boat ride. These will be at the recreation center there.
